Matt O'Neil: Owner / Executive Chef
The deciding moment in Chef Matt O’Neil’s life was when he discovered hislove of food during a semester abroad in Florence, Italy while studying for apolitical science degree at Bates College in Maine. He graduated and movedto Martha’s Vineyard, all the while plotting his culinary path. After severalyears of working in sales and customer service, Matt accepted anapprenticeship at The Vineyard Golf Club and was accepted to the highlyacclaimed Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Aftergraduation, Matt worked in top Boston restaurants (No. 9 Park, Prezza,Copia) and more recently acted as a consultant for restaurants looking torevamp their business. Matt was born and raised in Swampscott andcurrently lives in Nahant. He looks forward to hosting you and welcomes your input!The Artwork
We are proud to be hanging the artwork of celebrated Martha Vineyard based painter, Traeger DiPietro. As another connection to the community, this artist, and Swampscott native, has designed pieces for the restaurant highlighting downtown Lynn.
